Reyes Blasts Mariners, Rangers Take Game 4, 13-8
The Texas Rangers defeated the Seattle Mariners, 13-8 in Game 4 of the Wild Card Series today. Making an impact was shortstop Jose Reyes, who went 3 for 6 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The win moves Texas into a 2-2 tie with Seattle in the series.

Reyes came through for Texas with a 2-run double in the top of the second. He hit a first pitch changeup to right field, staking his team to a 3-1 lead.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Texas manager Rangers GM told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Safeco Field 1999-2012 in Seattle.
