Cubs Improve to 83-70 with 2-1 Win
|

Cueto yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 11-8. Reyes Moronta picked up his 22nd save of the season.
The Cubs got a big at-bat from catcher Tony Wolters. For the game, Wolters was 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 15th double of the season gave Chicago a 2-0 lead.
