Brewers Earn 2-0 Road Win Over Chicago
|
Milwaukee Brewers starter Erik Bedard turned in a top-notch performance against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field 1979-2005. The result was a win for the Brewers, 2-0. Milwaukee has a 3-game win streak, while Chicago has lost 3 in a row.
Rickie Weeks, the 31-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Weeks contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Milwaukee up, 2-0.
"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Bedard.
