Big Day for Peraza as Indians Down Rangers, 7-2
The Cleveland Indians defeated the Texas Rangers, 7-2, at The Ballpark in Arlington 1994-2011. Cleveland first baseman Jose Peraza had a superb performance. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once. The first-place Indians, at 78-20, lead the AL Central Division by 26 games.

Cleveland took a 4-1 lead on Peraza's 9th double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Mike Foltynewicz in the top of the seventh, propelled Cleveland to the win.

"We came in and did what we needed to do," said Cleveland manager Jake Indians.
