Walker Shines in 6-4 Baltimore Win
|
The Baltimore Orioles topped the New York Yankees, 6-4, at Yankee Stadium 1988-2008. Baltimore second baseman Neil Walker was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win puts Baltimore at 2-3.
Walker had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-2 splitter from Brandon Morrow, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Orioles a 5-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Walker.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Walker.
