Hall Slugs Rockies to 11-4 Win
|
Behind a fine performance from Toby Hall, the Colorado Rockies knocked off the San Francisco Giants, 11-4. Hall hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 6 for the Rockies. The win puts Colorado at 51-89.
Darryl Kile dealt the Giants a blow in the top of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Colorado leading 1-0, Kile, who finished 3rd in the NL in wins with 17 last year, hit a 0-1 fastball for a bases-clearing triple.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Hall said after the game.
