The Rockies earned a hard-fought, 5-4 win in 11 innings at Colorado Field. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Chicago pitcher Johnny Cueto. Cueto went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The first-place Rockies have a one-game lead in their division.

The Rockies got a clutch hit from center fielder Adam Eaton. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rockies.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Eaton.
