White Sox Lose to Orioles in Walk-Off
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles get after it.
The Baltimore Orioles took Chicago pitcher Freddy Peralta's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards 1992-2011. The final score had Baltimore getting past the White Sox, 4-3. Peralta went 7 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 4. Baltimore goes to 3-0.
Baltimore got a knockout punch from Alex Dickerson. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
Dickerson attributed the win to "concerted effort and focus."
