Red Sox Deal Yankees 6-3 Defeat

The Boston Red Sox picked up a win at Yankee Stadium 1988-2008, knocking off the New York Yankees, 6-3. Starting pitcher Mike Fiers played a key role in the triumph. Aroldis Chapman recorded the save for Boston, his 5th of the season. The setback makes the Yankees 8-12.
Max Stassi had a big 3-run home run for the Red Sox in the top of the second inning. With Boston leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a slider from Patrick Corbin, the 11th overall pick in the 2011 draft, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Red Sox on top, 4-0.
"I got in a good groove," said Fiers. "I was getting some swings and misses."
