2060 Top Player Honored By PECOS

The future looks extremely bright for Joey Galloway. At the age of 24, many players are still trying to find their way in Pecos League.
Galloway has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Pecos League Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .362 this year, that's for sure," the second baseman said.
The Bakersfield Train Robbers star also put up a .495 on-base percentage this year, with 58 hits, 15 doubles, 3 triples, 18 home runs, 52 RBIs and 52 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 14. Jon Kuchinski of the Pittsburg Anchors finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while In-goo Jeon of the Bakersfield Train Robbers finished third.
