Hit Streak for Barek Reaches 30 Thursday, September 11th , 2059 The Randfontein Spurs stopped the Klerksdorp Dolphins, 4-2, and Amazuz Barek collected a base hit yet again. The Randfontein catcher finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 30. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Barek told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games."
