Kaigwa Blisters Klerksdorp Sunday, September 7th , 2059 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Conor Kaigwa of the Piet Retief Penguins had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate in his team's 7-1 win over the Klerksdorp Dolphins at Dolphins Stadium. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 23-year-old left fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Conor Kaigwa singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Amin Moswen in the 9th.
