Penguins Chill Fauzi Hot Streak Thursday, August 11th , 2061 The Sundumbili Crunch lost to the Piet Retief Penguins, 9-4, at Crunch Stadium, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Daniel Fauzi's 21-game hitting streak. The center fielder went 0-for-4 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Fauzi, we would win the game," Penguins manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." So far this season, Fauzi has 10 home runs and a .307 batting average. |
