Paucar Crowned Batter of the Month in August Sunday, September 1st , 2058 A hot-hitting Nate Paucar punished AZL pitchers in August, hitting .457 in 26 games while racking up 3 home runs, 33 RBIs and 19 runs scored. With those numbers it came as no surprise that Los Angeles A (AZL)'s 19-year-old center fielder earned Arizona Rookie League Batter of the Month honors. Thus far this season, Paucar is hitting .378 with 3 home runs, 48 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 65 hits in 172 at-bats and has played in 55 games. |
