Apparently not Atlanta (GCL) Braves right fielder Doug Stagner, who missed the team's pre-game session at Champion Stadium but peppered the Detroit (GCL) Tigers for 5 hits come game time. The Braves went on to grab the 13-0 win. "I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often." Doug Stagner singled in the 1st, struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
