Grand Junction's Toguchi Will Miss Season Tuesday, July 28th , 2037 Ikuo Toguchi will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Grand Junction starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Toguchi was injured while throwing a pitch in the Rockies-Padres clash at Peoria Sports Complex recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 5 months. To this point in the season, Toguchi shows a 0-2 record, 7 starts, 24.2 innings, 30 strikeouts and a 4.38 ERA. |
