Injury Sidelines Dan Dlugos For Year
Wednesday, August 13th , 2059
When Hillsboro starting pitcher Dan Dlugos was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Hops-Dodgers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Dlugos had sustained radial nerve compression and will be out for about 7-8 months.
In 10 starts this year, Dlugos has posted 3 wins while suffering 3 losses. He has pitched 52.2 innings, allowed 58 hits, struck out 44 and has a 3.76 ERA.
