Williamsport Crosscutters Mathematically Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 10th , 2059 Jimmy Rogers said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Williamsport Crosscutters after they missed the Short Season A Baseball playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Williamsport last appeared in the postseason in 2054. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 34 times in their 40-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Crosscutters have only made the playoffs once. |
