Standout Season For Sech, Wins CC Most Valuable Player Award

Most of the season Chris Sech was "in the zone" and had his way with opposing pitchers. The Nuts first baseman managed to stay there long enough to earn the CAR/CAL Most Valuable Player Award for 2059.

He assaulted CC pitchers for a .386 batting average, 132 hits, 18 home runs and 69 RBIs, while scoring 55 times.

He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 30. Jim Croy of the Inland Empire 66ers finished second in voting with 10 first place votes, while Julio Baldazo of the Lynchburg Hillcats finished third with 5 first place votes.
