Charlotte Won't Make Playoffs Friday, August 8th , 2059 Even the most glass-half-full fans have likely already given up on the 2059 season for the Charlotte Stone Crabs. The team clinched a rough year today, being mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. Charlotte last appeared in the postseason in 2056. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 37 times in their 40-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Stone Crabs have only made the playoffs once. |
