Salazar Torches Nationals for 5 Hits Monday, May 5th , 2059 It was a parade of hits for Ernesto Salazar of the Lynchburg Hillcats at New Fredericksburg Ballpark. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Salazar finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Hillcats to a win, 9-4. "Salazar was really good and we were really bad," groaned Nationals manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
