Clippers Proby Lost for Year Friday, August 20th , 2055 Tony Proby expressed his disappointment when he learned that a damaged elbow ligament would sideline him for 13 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the lineup," explained Proby. The starting pitcher got hurt in today's game with the Syracuse Mets. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. Checking out his stats for the year, Proby has racked up 1 win and 1 loss in 5 starts, posted a 1.82 ERA, and struck out 18 batters in 24.2 innings. |
