Redbirds Won't Get Playoff Berth Wednesday, August 18th , 2055 There would have never been more than a tiny glimmer of hope, but today even that is gone. The Memphis Redbirds have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Redbirds have missed the playoffs 32 times in their 36 years as a Triple A Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2046. In the last 10 seasons, the Redbirds have only made the playoffs once. Memphis last won the Triple A Championship in 2021. |
