International League Announces #1 Player Monday, August 2nd , 2055 Chris Zabel stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the International League Player of the Week honors. The Indianapolis designated hitter ripped opposing pitchers for 14 hits in 27 at-bats and 1 home run. He put together a sizzling .519 batting average as he knocked in 11 runs and scored 6 times. So far this year, Zabel is batting .350 with 20 home runs, 76 RBIs and 57 runs scored. |
