Hit Parade: Castro Pops 5 Hits Sunday, July 4th , 2055 It was a downpour of hits for Jose Castro at Dell Diamond. The Round Rock Express left fielder tore into Omaha for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace the Express to a rain-delayed 9-5 victory. Omaha manager bemoaned his pitching, speculating his club got flustered by Castro's big day. "He was beating us and we stopped locating well," he said. "That makes you get behind in the count and you can't do that when a guy is hot like Castro was today. Not to take anything away from him, but bad location was the story of the ballgame." Jose Castro singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. This season, Castro is batting .312 with 8 home runs.
