Muniz Gone for Season in Round Rock Monday, August 25th , 2059 The season is ending on a bad note for Juan Muniz, starting pitcher for the Round Rock Express. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Muniz was hurt against the Albuquerque Isotopes while throwing a pitch. He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 8 months. This season, Muniz has worked 90 innings with 46 strikeouts en route to a 5-9 record and a 5.90 ERA. |
