Generales Rynd Newest .400 Hitter Friday, August 8th , 2059 It might look like a typo in this season's stat reports, but the .403 next to the name of Bubba Rynd is no mistake. That's his batting average for the recently completed season. Rynd is the newest member of baseball's .400 club. The Durango left fielder, who finished 4th in the LMB in hits with 161 in 2059, tried to downplay the achievement. "It's just a number," he said. Then he admitted with a grin: "Okay, it's a big number!" That number puts Rynd in the record books with some of the game's great players. His other stats during this remarkable season include 161 hits, 43 doubles, 6 triples, 15 home runs, 79 runs and 62 RBIs. |
