In Extras, Grizzlies Beat Wind Surge
The Fresno Grizzlies defeated the Wichita Wind Surge, 7-6, in 10 innings. Doing his part was right fielder Bob Shackelford, who was 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs. At 69-70, the Grizzlies claim 5th place in the Pacific Coast League North Division.

The Grizzlies got a clutch hit from catcher Rob Wilcox. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Grizzlies.

"This game showed the grit and grind of our guys," said Shackelford.
