The Albuquerque Isotopes defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers, 11-2, at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park. Albuquerque shortstop Josh Davis had a superb performance. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Chris Walker, the winning pitcher, is now 5-4. He went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while fanning 2 and walking 3. The Isotopes now own a record of 74-57.
In the top of the seventh, the Isotopes found themselves in a jam. Omaha had the bases loaded with two out. The score was 11-2, Albuquerque. Andy Huerta was at the plate, hoping to deal the Isotopes a serious blow. Instead, he flied out to end the threat.
