Greater Nevada Field was the site of a competitive game between the Fresno Grizzlies and Reno Aces.

Reno took on Fresno in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Dan Miller, in particular, was fantastic. The Reno right-hander helped his team snag the win, 1-0. The last-place Aces are now 55-78, the Grizzlies 62-71.

Reno got a clutch hit from Joe Tedrow. The first baseman launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"Dan pitched like a son-of-a-gun," said Reno manager .
