Marroquin 3-for-5, Leads Dodgers to Win
|
Oklahoma City took on Fresno in front of a lively crowd.
Freddy Marroquin helped his team muscle past the Fresno Grizzlies, 11-7. In the game, the Oklahoma City center fielder was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. Alex Morales earned the win for Oklahoma City. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 3-4.
With Oklahoma City leading 7-4 in the top of the eighth, Marroquin hit a curveball from Jarrod Marshall for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Dodgers ahead, 11-4.
"You need to show up when your number's called," said Marroquin.
