Win Goes to Grizzlies in Tight Contest
The Fresno Grizzlies had to overcome a good performance from Reno pitcher Kellen Goodin to claim a 3-2 win at Greater Nevada Field. Goodin went 7.1 innings and allowed no runs. The first-place Grizzlies, at 69-58, lead the Pacific Coast League North Division by 2 games.

Fresno used the timely hitting of Jimmy Sadowski to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Grizzlies on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
