Redbirds Suffer 10-2 Loss to Oklahoma City
The Oklahoma City Dodgers thumped the Memphis Redbirds, 10-2, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Brian Kendrick was a big reason his team got the win. Kendrick was 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Eric Gaudio, the winner, improved to 13-2. He held the Redbirds to 2 runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 3. Arturo del Bosque picked up his 6th save of the season.

Kendrick contributed in the bottom of the first. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Oklahoma City get the win.

Said losing manager : "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
