The Oklahoma City Dodgers stopped the Tacoma Rainiers, 10-2, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers got a big game from Jeremy Garrison, who was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Bob Bland earned his 2nd save in 2 chances. The win for the Dodgers raised their record to 61-60.
Alex Gonzalez had a big 2-run triple for the Dodgers in the bottom of the second inning. With Oklahoma City leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Dan Hamrick, who is rated as the 91st best prospect by BNN, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dodgers ahead, 3-0.
