The home crowd had a good time watching the El Paso Chihuahuas and Fresno Grizzlies get after it.

Fresno pitcher Chris Terry did his part in helping his team defeat the El Paso Chihuahuas, 7-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Terry yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 0, and struck out 5. His record improves to 2-0.

Fresno pinch hitter Steve Browner contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 65th hit of the season and put the Grizzlies ahead, 4-2.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Fresno skipper .

With the victory, the Grizzlies upped their record to 59-57.
