Aviators Absorb 7-6 Loss at Sutter Health Park
Las Vegas first baseman Elijah Poulson had a good game, even if his team did not. The Aviators dropped a 7-6 decision to Sacramento at Sutter Health Park. Poulson was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Brad Lichter snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Curt Mierzejewski suffered the loss. The River Cats, at 56-60, inhabit 4th place in the Pacific Coast League North Division.

Sacramento took a 7-6 lead on Chris Lewandoski's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Lewandoski hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Las Vegas pitcher Willie Galdamez visibly frustrated.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Lewandoski, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
