Rainiers Handle Reno, Snag 5-0 Win
|
Right-hander Tony Rochin mesmerized the Reno Aces while leading the Tacoma Rainiers to a 5-0 victory. Jeff Mucker got the save, his 1st in 3 chances. Tacoma is in 7th place in the Pacific Coast League North Division with a record of 51-61.
The tide might have turned in the top of the sixth, had not Tony Rochin made a big pitch. With a runner on 1st and the Aces trailing 2-0, he retired Ben Moreno when the Reno third baseman flied out.
