Tacoma turned a good effort from starter Manny Guajardo into a win over the Reno Aces at Cheney Stadium. The final score was 4-2. Jeff Herman finished to wrap up his 7th save. With the win, the Rainiers have a record of 50-61.

Little Falls, New Jersey-born Ben Adams came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded and the Rainiers trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single to right to put Tacoma on top.

"That was a really good outing by Manny," said Tacoma manager .
