Flying Tigers Get One-Run Win at Florida
The Lakeland Flying Tigers picked up a win at CoolToday Park, knocking off the Florida Fire Frogs, 5-4. On the mound for Lakeland was right-hander Adrian Davalos. He played a key role in the triumph. Alfredo Cabrera earned the save, his 21st, for the Flying Tigers. The Flying Tigers move to 91-40 with the win, while the Fire Frogs drop to 79-52.

Lakeland used a clutch at-bat from Omar Aceves to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Flying Tigers ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I thought we competed really well," said Flying Tigers manager . "I thought the energy was really good."
