Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Daytona Tortugas and Clearwater Threshers.

The Clearwater Threshers had their hands full with Daytona Tortugas starter Mike Berube, who frustrated Clearwater hitters while leading Daytona to a comfortable, 6-0 win. Berube picked up the win for Daytona, going 5.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 9-9.

Jake Mackley, who is tied for 9th in the FSL in triples with 3, aided the Daytona cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman drew 2 walks.
