The Clearwater Threshers knocked off the Daytona Tortugas, 7-6, at Spectrum Field. Jonathan Haught was a big reason Clearwater won. The shortstop was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Clearwater reliever Josh Smith picked up the win, upping his record to 6-0. Ben Wolf was saddled with the loss. The triumph puts Clearwater at 46-32 for the season.

Haught had a crucial hit for Clearwater with two out in the bottom of the third. With Clearwater trailing 2-1, Haught hit a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Threshers ahead, 4-2.

"Feels good to get the job done," Haught said after the game.
