Tortugas Get Hard-Earned Win, Stop Blue Jays, 3-2
The Daytona Tortugas knocked off the Dunedin Blue Jays, 3-2, in FSL North action at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Daytona pitcher and New York, native Danny Poling had an outstanding performance. Ricky Farias, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The Tortugas have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Sean Bunce hit a run-scoring double off Angel Flores in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Tortugas in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Bunce had 1 single, while going 2 for 2.

"It's a mindset," said Poling. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
