Reno first baseman Mike Bjorklund made his presence felt in the 8-0 Aces triumph over the Iowa Cubs. Bjorklund was 2-3 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Reno is now 38-53.

With Reno leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Bjorklund hit a slider from Oscar Belmarez for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Aces ahead, 3-0.
