Taylor Leads Rainiers to 7-3 Win Over Grizzlies
Tacoma designated hitter Tim Taylor helped his team beat the Fresno Grizzlies, 7-3. Taylor went 4 for 5 for the Rainiers. Dave Luft picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 0. On the season, he is now 4-3. Daniel Hutchins locked down his 7th save.

Taylor contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Tacoma in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Taylor took a fastball from Jeremy Paine and stroked the home run to left-center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Rainiers to leap in front, 2-1.

Taylor called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
