The Reno Aces downed the San Antonio Missions, 2-0, at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. Reno pitcher Steve Halpern definitely brought his A-game. Mike Van Wieren finished the game for Reno and earned his 19th save. Reno has won 4 straight games.
Kevin Centeno had a direct impact on the outcome. Centeno contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Reno up, 2-0.
