Late Offense Lifts Salt Lake to 10-8 Victory
The 10-8 Salt Lake win over Oklahoma City was due in large part to Elijah Mathews. The Bees designated hitter was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. The win went to Billy McCarron in relief, making him now 4-2. Dan Fleming took the loss for Oklahoma City. Salt Lake has an impressive 33-13 record.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Mathews. Facing Dan Fleming with a runner on 1st, the Salt Lake designated hitter had a 2-run home run. Game over, walk-off style!
