El Paso Drops Another One, 6-5
Southwest University park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Fresno Grizzlies and El Paso Chihuahuas.

John Ridley had a good game, but he could not keep the El Paso Chihuahuas from falling, 6-5, to the Fresno Grizzlies at Southwest University park. The El Paso second baseman was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once in the loss. El Paso is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

Jeremiah Griggs drew 1 walk in 2 plate appearances, while adding 2 RBI for Fresno. The 29-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jim Oesterling. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Griggs said.
