Wichita pitcher Jerry Galo did his part in helping his team beat the Fresno Grizzlies, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Galo, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 2, walking 4, and allowing no runs. With this game in the books, Wichita is 23-18, Fresno 23-18.

It could have been a different outcome for Wichita, had it not been for Cesar Aguila, the 26-year old first baseman . Aguila contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the sixth inning to put Wichita up, 2-0.

"I made a lot of good pitches," said Galo. "I was right where I wanted to be."
