The Albuquerque Isotopes picked up a win at Principal Park, defeating the Iowa Cubs, 3-1. Starting pitcher Sean Mors was an essential part of his team's success. The 5th-place Isotopes now have a record of 20-17.

Albuquerque relied on the bat of Jose Cortes to get the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the first inning to put the Isotopes ahead, 1-0. For the game, Cortes had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Cortes told the Albuquerque Times. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
