Las Vegas Wins, 1-0, in Extra Innings
|
The Las Vegas Aviators and Memphis Redbirds put on quite a show.
In a low-scoring contest, Las Vegas pitcher Alex Flores was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 1-0 win in 10 innings. The Aviators raised their record to 18-15.
The Aviators got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Jeff Roel. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Aviators.
"The game of baseball will test you," said , the Las Vegas skipper. "This one tested us."
